The kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances and everything you need to surprise your group with full-course meals, filling breakfasts, and quick snacks on the go. When it's time to come back from the beach, throw your swimming trunks and bathing suits into the washer/dryer. What's nearby: This unbeatable location will grant you direct beach access about 125 feet west, at the end of NW 16th Ave. Pack your beach chairs, umbrella, and towels and head over to the beach to enjoy the breeze and work on your tan. Rockaway Beach has seven miles of pristine white-sand beaches that are open to the public. Other great activities you can try are boating, fishing, crabbing, sea kayaking, and sandcastle building. Less than one and a half miles south is downtown Rockaway Beach where dining options abound. If you'd like something other than water activities and the beach, you can put on your best hiking shoes and visit Rockaway Big Tree Trailhead, two miles south. It's an ADA accessible boardwalk through a remnant of coastal old-growth cedar wetlands right in town. If you follow the road, it'll lead you to the Big Cedar tree.
